Time will come when people would decide on upgrading their old laptop. Many might also realize that their desktop computers have finally served their purpose. For those people buying new computer, they consider buying portable ones over desktops. Indeed, laptop vs notebook has become a major issue that computer users need to address Such issue becomes more pronounced than ever, when the need arises for a person to buy a new computer gadget. Indeed, doing away with desktop PC is not anymore an issue. People need all the space that they can possible enjoy in their table, and they can only have it by buying either a laptop or a notebook.
It was a dilemma for me choosing between a laptop and a notebook. Then, I also came to realize that brands are important to consider as well, not just because of the name but also because of the reliability attached to the brand names. But, the most important question remained unanswered. What type of computer do I buy? Good thing I know that desktop was not what I needed so decision making was kind of easier with that.
What I did is read through some laptop vs notebook pros and cons to make my decision. The feedbacks are really helpful in terms of getting ideas for the price, usage, advantage and disadvantages, as well as the specs. Laptops are known to be more expensive than notebooks. This is really true because laptops have more to offer than notebooks. Laptops have everything that I need so it’s like I bring my office wherever I go.
People may opt for this option, however, if budget is an issue, settling with a notebook might be good, especially if the computing needs are not as very serious.Talking about computing capabilities, it should be the next thing to consider, along with the size when looking into laptop vs notebook pros and cons.
Notebooks are lighter than laptops so they are more convenient to carry around. If portability is a major issue, especially for people, like me, who loves to travel, then notebook is a good choice. But then, notebooks’ processors and memory cannot serve my needs. Needless to say, when it comes to laptop vs notebook, the former is more ideal for professionals. I’d recommend notebooks for college students or for those who do documents most of the time.
